April 21, Vista Park Easter Egg hunt.  9 a.m.  
All kids welcome!  Presented by the Lions Club.  A 5 minute
walk from Twin Gables.

Every Friday afternoon - May - October
Two Islands Farm Market   
Friday's 3 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.  Puget Island:  Stockhouse's Farm 62 W.
Birnie Slough Road.
Local vendors presenting their Wahkiakum grown/produced products
that include locally grown plants and herbs, produce and poultry.  
A 10 minute drive from Twin Gables.

June 2nd:  Rods and Reels Car show and  
Sturgeon Fishing Derby
10 am till 4 pm., Wahkiakum County Fairgrounds.  A relaxed family
astmosphere.  Trout fishing pond for the kids, raffles, prizes, Vintage
cars of all kinds.  2 minute walk to Twin Gables.

June 22-24:  The Smoky Water Follies Show
At the Intimate, Skamokawa Grange Theatre
For three (3) shows only!
June 22 – 23, (Friday and Saturday) at 7:30 PM and June 24 Sunday  
Matinee at 2:00 PM, All Seats $10
Vaudeville styled music and skits, complete barbershop quartet and
band,  Proceeds to benefit the Skamokawa Grange Hall.  2 minute walk
from Twin Gables.

June 22-24 (9 am - 4 pm):  
Annual Puget Island Garage Sale
Puget Island, Cathlamet, WA
Shop for treasures, enjoy a Farmer's Market, have fun!
A 10 minute drive from Twin Gables.

July 20 (9:30am):  Bald Eagle Fun Run

July 21 - Bald Eagle Days Parade/ Fireworks!
Main Street Cathlamet, 11 a.m.  An old fashioned small town parade.  
with a street fair.  The days wraps up with an excellent fireworks show
at the Elochoman Marina.  No reserving your seat and hanging around
for hours.  A relaxed family friendly event.  A 10 minute drive from
Twin Gables

July 22, Elochoman Marina Wooden Boat Show, in
Cathlamet.  10 am to 4 pm. A 10 minute drive from Twin Gables.

July TBA -  Annual Pioneer Loggers' Picnic. Starts at 2:00 p.m.
Potluck & Program at: American Legion Hall, Deep River, WA

July 28th, Skamokawa Vista Park's Local
Producers Party.   Local Music and market vendors all day,
including pies from the Twin Gables kitchen.  A 5 minute walk from
Twin Gables.  

The Silver Buckle Series Open Game Shows,
Several dates during the summer. Dates to be announceced.
Pole Bending, Figure 8 Stake Race, Key Pole Race, Speed Barrels,
International Flags Race and Texas Barrels.  A two minute walk from

Aug.  Covered Bridge Festival,  Grays River.  Annual fair at
one of the last covered bridges in Washington.  10 am to 4 pm.  A 20
minute drive from Twin Gables.

Aug TBA:  Hobie Cats Racing Regatta
Skamokawa Vista Park,   The public is invited to watch hobie cat racing
from the shore.  A five minute walk from Twin Gables.
Aug 23, 24, 25,  Wahkiakum County Fair
Farm Animals & Agricultural Exhibits, 4H & FFA
Children's Games, Great Food, Fun Music & Entertainment

This event is held annually the 4th Thursday, Friday, & Saturday in

Sept 1, Buzzard's Breath Chili Cook-Off
Elochoman Slough Marina, Cathlamet WA, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Great family fun! Chili Cook-Off Contest - Enter YOUR Chili and
Win! Tortilla Throwing Contest, Cow Plop Raffle, Live Music, and
Beer Garden.  A 10 minute drive from Twin Gables.  

September TBA - Wine Tasting & Auction.
Sponsored by Friends of Skamokawa Foundation.
Location: Skamokawa Grange,  18 Fairgrounds Road (Adjacent to
Wahkiakum Fairgrounds)   7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.  Silent Auction begins
at 7:00 p.m. and the Live Auction begins at 8:00 p.m.  A two minute
